To be most effective, the players need to operate according to a strategy. In a nutshell, the heroes need to throw as many attack dice at the monsters in a round as possible to prevent the monsters from throwing dice against them on Zargon's turn. Dead monsters can't fight back! Heath goes into more detail here.
